BrownSense is the conduit for Black owned businesses to connect to their consumers locally, and across the world.
BrownSense was borne of a need to be action-oriented in finding solutions to the challenges faced by the Black community. Since its inception in January 2016, BrownSense has grown its online following and membership to over 176 000 followers on its Facebook platform, with an estimated growth of about 2000 followers each week. These followers comprise of Brownies from various walks of life, based in the various South African provinces, as well as Southern Africa.
BrownSense has been proactive in creating a trading platform for Brownie entrepreneurs primarily through the Facebook platform, and then through the monthly BrownSense Markets in Johannesburg and in Cape Town.
Ours is a community of Black people that is intentional with practicing group economics.
